Our ceremony will take place on top of Cadillac Mountain, surrounded by the beautiful foliage in Acadia National Park. We’d love for guests to wear semi-formal attire, and if you’re looking for inspiration, earth tones will complement the natural setting beautifully. Although there will be transportation to the summit, the ceremony location involves some walking on uneven terrain, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes that you can move around in easily. And because Maine weather can be unpredictable (especially at higher elevations), bringing an extra layer is a good idea to stay warm as the sun sets.

We’ve got you covered! As part of our wedding celebration, we’ve arranged for trolley transportation to take guests to the ceremony location, and the required Acadia National Park passes are included with this private tour. If you only plan to enter the park for the wedding via the trolley, you do not need to purchase your own park pass. However, if you plan to explore Acadia on your own during your stay, you’ll need to purchase your own park pass in advance. Additionally, if you plan to drive to Cadillac Mountain Summit on your own at any point, you will need to reserve a separate vehicle parking permit, which (to our knowledge) becomes available two weeks prior to your visit. For the most up-to-date information, we recommend checking the Acadia National Park website before your trip!

To make things easy, we’ve arranged for a private trolley service to take all guests to the ceremony location on Cadillac Mountain. The trolley tour will depart from Oli’s Trolleys, located at: 📍 Oli’s Trolley 1 West St, Bar Harbor, ME 04609 Everyone will meet at Oli’s Trolley before the ceremony, and after the ceremony, the trolley will drop guests off at the cocktail hour location—no need to worry about transportation between events! Parking & Getting There Paid public parking is available just a 2-minute walk from Oli’s Trolley. Ubers & Lyfts are also readily available in the area. We recommend taking an Uber from your hotel to Oli’s Trolley to make parking easier. Let us know if you have any questions, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Our wedding kicks off with a private trolley tour through Acadia National Park. Along the way, you’ll get to see some of the park’s most beautiful sights with a fully narrated tour, and there will be a 20-minute stop at Thunder Hole—a stunning spot where, if the timing is right, you’ll see (and hear!) waves crashing into the rocky cliffs. We’ll have snack bags with some of our favorite Maine treats and hiking snacks for the ride, along with some non-alcoholic drinks since alcohol isn’t allowed on the trolley.

While we love your kids and pets, our wedding will be adults-only. This includes the welcome drinks and pizza dinner on Thursday, as well as all of the wedding festivities on Friday. The locations and schedule aren’t well-suited for children or animals, and we want all of our guests to be able to relax and enjoy the celebration. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

We’ll be in Bar Harbor a few days before the wedding and would love to spend time with anyone who’s getting in early!
